KABUL: The first meeting of this year’s Hajj Committee was held under the chairmanship of the Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs Mawlavi Abdul Salam Hanafi, Arg said in a statement.
The committee was attended by the acting Minister of Hajj and Islamic Affairs Shaikh Noor Mohammad Saqib and other members of the committee and representatives of Ariana and Kam Air Airlines, as the transporters of the pilgrims.
According to the statement, the meeting discussed the safe and easy transportation of pilgrims from the center and provinces of the country to the Hajj program and their return.
The meeting’s leadership stressed providing necessary facilities and services for the country’s pilgrims during their transportation, return, and stay in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
It is worth mentioning that a few days ago, the process of transporting this year’s Hajj pilgrimages from Afghanistan began with the first flight carrying about 250 pilgrims from Kabul International Airport.
