UN representative invited Mawlavi Abdul Kabir in upcoming 3rd UN-led Doha meeting

KABUL: The Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs Mawlavi Abdul Kabir met with Rosemary DiCarlo Under-Secretary-General for Political Affairs in the United Nations and her accompanying delegation, here in Sapidar Palace, Arg said in a statement.

In the meeting, which was attended by some cabinet members, the UN representative invited Deputy PM in the 3rd UN-led Doha meeting.

She added that the Islamic Emirate’s conditions are not difficult to attend Doha meeting and hoped that a delegation should participate.

“Doha meeting is a good opportunity to increase the interaction of the world countries’with the IEA and normalizing the relations with Afghanistan, ” the statement quoted him as saying.

Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister Mawlavi Abdul Kabir, welcoming the UN Under Secretary-General’s travel to Kabul, said that currently a central government rules over the entire territory and led by an Emir whose orders are being followed.

Mawlavi Abdul Kabir added that currently, around 85,000 women are employed in Afghanistan, and the commitment to professional women remains in place.

This Islamic Emirate official called the previous Doha conference as incomplete due to some shortcomings of the organizers and expressed hope that the Islamic Emirate’s position will be accepted in the upcoming meeting so that a delegation from Afghanistan can participate.
