KABUL: The Technical Committee of the Economic Commission, meeting was held today, discussing strategy for self-sufficiency in wheat production in the country, the Deputy PM for Economic Affairs said in a statement Tuesday.
In the meeting, after comprehensive discussion, the strategy was accepted by the committee and a decision has been made to send the strategy to the Economic Commission for final approval, the statement said.
This strategy is designed to strengthen the country’s national economy and food security, with the implementation of which, the production level of wheat will increase and its quality will be significantly improved.
