KABUL: Leading a delegation the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund left the country today to attend the funeral ceremony of Iran President Sayyed Ebrahimi Raisi, Foreign Minister and other officials, said spokesman of the Islamic Emirate Mawlavi Zabihullah Mujahid in a statement.
Mullah Baradar is accompanied by the acting Foreign Minister Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi and other officials.
The funeral prayer of the President, Foreign Minister, and other officials will be held, today, led by Ali Khamenei, the Leader of Iran, in Tehran, and the president will be buried in Mashhad on Thursday.
It’s mentionable that nine Iranian high-ranking officials, including the President and Foreign Minister, have lost their lives as a result of a helicopter crash three days ago.
