Afghan delegation leaves for Malaysia to attend International Islamic Economic and Finance Forum

KABUL: A delegation of the country’s Central Bank left the country for Malaysia to participate in the International Islamic Economics and Finance Forum, the bank said in a statement today.

In the meeting, the delegations will be attended from the Islamic countries’ central banks and opinions and experiences of the participating members on the development of Islamic banking will be shared.

The Central Bank delegation is scheduled to have meetings with pre-determined sectors in addition to participating in aforementioned meeting, said the statement.

According to statement, the delegation of the country’s Central Bank will also visit the International Islamic Banking Research Center, the International University of Islamic Finance, the International Islamic University of Malaysia, and the Hajj and Zakat Administration of this country.

According to statement, the aim behind their visit is to establish bilateral relations.

The Central Bank has launched efforts across the country to promote and develop Islamic banking.
