KABUL: The Acting Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock Mawlavi Attaullah Omari, met with Musa Şardağ Çelebi, the President of the Turkish Strategic Research Center (ASAM), here in Kabul, the ministry said in a statement.
According to the statement, in the meeting, the participants discussed the way for investment and standardization of the agricultural sector in the country.
The meeting was also attended by Bilal Hakimi, the country manager of the Turkish Development and Cooperation Agency (TIKA), and Sayed Hazrat Hashemi, the deputy secretary of the contact commission of the Islamic Emirate with Afghan personalities.
The Islamic Emirate’s efforts are underway to standardize and achieve self-sufficiency in the agricultural sector.
