Over 100 Afghan families expelled from Pakistan

KABUL: As many as 106 Afghan families, have forcibly been deported by the Pakistani government, the Ministry of Refugees and Repatriations said in a statement today.

According to the statement, the expelled families including 559 individuals including women and children, have been returned to the country through Spin Boldak and Torkham ports.

The Islamic Emirate distributed 10,000 Afghanis for each returnee family, the statement said adding that they have been identified to international aid agencies for receiving further assistance.

2.368 Afghan refugees have been deported by the Iranian government and 1,151 expelled by the Pakistani government in the past two days.
