Putin warns West not to play with fire

KABUL: Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia, in response to reports of Ukraine using Western-supplied weapons to attack the depth of Russian territory, warned Western countries not to play with fire.
He added that the use of Western-provided weapons to attack Russian soil would lead to a global confrontation.
“Ukraine needs long-range weapons, satellites, and intelligence to attack Russia, which is impossible without Western assistance,” he said adding if these options are provided, and Ukraine attacks Russia, the West will be directly drawn into the war.
Meanwhile, some European countries, including France, have expressed a willingness to deploy forces to Ukrainian territory to counter threats and the advancement of Russian forces in the country.
