KABUL: The unprecedented heatwave has posed a challenge for Indian citizens, as currently, the minimum temperature in the northern and central parts of India has been recorded the highest in the past 70 years.
The temperature reached up to 52 degrees Celsius yesterday, also, in nearly 40 Indian cities, people have endured temperatures as high as 48 degrees Celsius.
The India Meteorological Department has warned that the country’s citizens will experience more severe and prolonged heat during the current summer season.
It is said that the intensity of the heat has also led to power and water shortages in some parts of India.
It appears that this year’s heatwave has become unbearable for citizens of various countries.
Last week, 52 degrees Celsius were recorded in some Pakistani states.
