MAZAR-E-SHARIF: At least 5 people have been martyred and 5 others injured as a result of a traffic accident in Balkh province, province’s police department said in a statement late on Friday.
Provincial officials said that the accident took place while a Picnik-type vehicle crashed a Corolla-type vehicle in Hassan Ali village of Sholgara district of Balkh province and resulted in the martyring of 5 people and the injuring of 5 others
The injured of the incident have been taken to the hospital.
The recklessness of drivers and fast driving are linked to the increase in traffic accidents in the country.
