Two development projects implemented in Laghman, Paktia

KABUL: Two development projects worth 3.8 million Afghanis (some 53,504 US Dollars) have been implemented in Paktia and Laghman provinces, the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development said in separate statements.
According to the statement, the projects included the construction of roads and check dams.
According to the statement, a check dam with 31 long, five meters high and storage of 7,500 cubic meters of water has been built and inaugurated in Mullah Khail village of Sayed Karam district of Paktia province.
One kilometer of road with a cost of 1 million Afghani has been built in Shahbaz village, Mehtarlam city capital of Laghman province, said the statement.
The process of implementing development projects is underway in various provinces of the country.
