KABUL: In a virtual meeting, the Foreign Ministers of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, and Qatar have expressed their countries’ support for the ongoing war to end in the Gaza Strip.

Senior Arab diplomats emphasized the recent proposal presented to end the war in Gaza by the United States, which they believe shows a serious and positive approach in this regard.

The foreign ministers of the five Arab countries, in a joint statement, stressed the necessity of establishing a sustainable ceasefire, sending humanitarian aid, and ending the ongoing suffering of the people of Gaza.

The foreign ministers also pointed to the two-state solution and an end to the Zionist Israel occupation.
