KABUL: Leading a delegation, the Acting Minister of Interior Affairs Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani, during his stay in Abu Dhabi, the capital of United Arab Emirates, met with Shaikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the president of that country, the IEA spokesman said the other day.
In the meeting, two sides discussed strengthening of relations between the two countries, cooperation in health sector, Afghan security forces, the release of Afghan prisoners, issuance of visas, the digitization of the traffic section of the Ministry of Interior and some other issues, spokesman of the Islamic Emirate Mawlavi Zabihullah Mujahid said on his X page the other day.
Also, President of UAE assured full cooperation in investment and reconstruction in Afghanistan.
The Acting Minister of Interior Affairs Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani, accompanied by Mullah Abdul Haq Wasiq, the General Director of Intelligence, left the country for the United Arab Emirates (UAE) late on Tuesday.
