KABUL: The spokesman of the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum Humayun Afghan said in a statement on his X account that in the past 10 days, 130,000 tons of Afghan crude oil worth $71.6 million has been sold.
The crude oil was extracted from the Amu Darya basin mines, Afghan said.
He also added that the extracted oil has been sold to domestic investors for refining and processing within the country.
He also emphasized that an additional 20,000 tons of crude oil is set to be sold through bidding today.
