KABUL: Governor of the Parwan province Abdul Ali Qudratullah Amini, meet Markus Potzel, Deputy Head of the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA), and Anita Lett, Head of the UNICEF Zonal Center, here in his office.
Hikmatullah Shamim, the Parwan Governor’s spokesman, said in a statement today that in the meeting the two sides discussed security and current situation of the province.
He added that Mawlavi Qudratullah Amini provided information about the current situation in the province and ensuring comprehensive security.
Meanwhile, Markus Potzel, stated that United Nations officials in the agriculture sector want to hold a joint meeting with local officials and the Parwan provincial leadership.
At the end of the meeting, Potzel and Ms. Lett visited the historical site of Top Dara Stupa.
