KABUL: The Chinese ambassador to Kabul Zhao Xing, in a meeting with the acting Minister of Industry and Commerce Nooruddin Azizi, emphasized the continuation of bilateral economic and trade relations between Beijing and Kabul, the ambassador said in a statement on his X account on Wednesday.
In the meeting, the two sides also discussed regional connectivity, the construction of the Wakhan Corridor, and the export of Afghan agricultural products to China.
China is one of Afghanistan’s neighboring countries and a major global power that has close and tight relations with Afghanistan.
Since the takeover of the country by the Islamic Emirate, China has invested in large sectors and mineral resources of Afghanistan.
