MoFA calls UNSC’s ceasefire resolutions positive step in ending genocide in Gaza Strip

KABUL: The Deputy Spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Hafiz Zia Ahmad Takal, in a statement late on Wednesday called approval of the resolution of the ceasefire by the United Nations Security Council the first positive step in ending genocide in Gaza strip.

“The adoption of the recent resolution by the United Nations Security Council aimed at ending the war in Gaza as an initial step to end the genocide of the people in Gaza, which requires realistic negotiation to lead to a permanent ceasefire in Gaza strip, ensuring a normal life for the people of Gaza,” said the statement.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the IEA condemns the crimes committed by the Zionist regime and supports the historic right of the Palestinian people to have an independent state.
