KABUL: The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Emirate (Amir-ul-Momineen) Shaikh-ul-Hadith Mawlavi Hibatullah Akhundzada, offered Eid al-Adha prayer at Eidgah mosque in Kandahar city, spokesman of the Islamic Emirate Mawlavi Zabihullah Mujahid said on Monday.
The Eid prayer was attended by thousands of people, said Mujahid.
Meanwhile, reporters of Radio Omid have reported that the Eid al-Adha prayer was performed in a secure environment in 34 provinces of the country.
Previously, the Ministry of Interior has said that tight security measures has been adopted by the country’s security forces across the country.
