Efforts underway to increase cooperation between academic institutions of Afghanistan and Malaysia

KABUL: The Embassy of Afghanistan in Malaysia says that efforts are underway to bring closer the relations between reputable universities of this country and Afghanistan.

The Afghan-based Malaysia ambassador Naqibullah Ahmadi, made the remarks in a meeting with Professor Bari Wain, the President of the Taylors University of Malaysia.

In the meeting, discussions were held on how to provide educational opportunities for interested Afghan students and to bring the universities of Afghanistan and Malaysia closer, said the embassy in the statement.

Afghan ambassador Ahmadi, asked the officials of the university to provide educational opportunities for Afghan students.

Ambassador Ahmadi, also emphasized the exchange of experiences and the establishment of relations to enhance the professional capacities of Afghan cadres.

Taylors University is one of the reputable academic institutions in Malaysia, which has secured the top rank in the conducted rankings.

Currently, a large number of students from various countries, including Afghanistan, are pursuing their studies at this university.
