KABUL: A total of 12 Afghan inmates imprisoned in Pakistani jails have been set free and returned home through Spin Boldak port of Kandahar province, the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development said in a statement on Sunday.
The imprisoned Afghans have been expelled by the Pakistani government with another 151 Afghans and returned to the country, said the statement.
The recently returned families have been introduced to the United Nations offices and other organizations to receive assistance.
