KABUL: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan (IEA), welcomed the appointment of a non-resident ambassador by Nicaragua to the country, said Abdul Qahar Balkhi spokesman of the ministry.
According to the statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has instructed Afghanistan’s embassy in Beijing to create and have close relations with Nicaragua’s embassy.
Calling a positive development in diplomatic relations with the Republic of Nicaragua, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs hoped that bilateral relations would further expand in areas of interest in the future.
