KABUL: The Ministry of Interior Affairs said in a statement on Sunday that a cache of various weapons and an amount of ammunition have been discovered and seized in Paktia province.
The provincial counter-terrorism police personnel during a search operation have discovered and seized a weapon and ammunition depot in the Ahmadabad district of the province, the statement said.
The seized weapons and ammunition included 10 AK-47 or Kalashnikovs, 10 grenades, 10 magazines, 2,000 bullets and amount of ammunition, the statement added.
The weapons and ammunition were stored in the district for about three years.
