KABUL: Officials of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce said that currently, about 6,000 factories are producing various kinds of food and non-food items in the country.
In order to promote and find a market for domestic products, 27 exhibitions including 6 international exhibitions have been in the past two years, said the ministry adding that 4, 5000 industrialists showcased their products in the exhibitions
The Industrialists Association of Afghanistan have considered the establishment of exhibitions as a positive step for the promotion and marketing of domestic products.
The Ministry has promised to organize 50 exhibitions by the end of this year, 13 of which will be international.
