KABUL: A check dam worth 4.5 million Afghani (some 63,270 US Dollars) was inaugurated in Farah province, the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development said in a statement.
The check dam with a length of 38 meters and height of 4 meters and a capacity of restoring 8,000 cubic meters of water has been built in Anjrk village of Shaibko district of Farah province, the statement said.
With the implementation of the project, dozens of people were provided with job opportunities.
