KABUL: Flash floods inflicted heavy financial and human losses in Bamyan and Badakhshan provinces and some other provinces of the country.
Provincial officials of Badakhshan said that floods have completely and partially destroyed 30 residential houses in Yamgan district of the province, as well as washed out 300 acres of agricultural land, a school, three mosques, and a number of canals.
Also, floods claimed the lives of 17 members of two families in Yakawlang district of Bamyan province.
The recent flash floods claimed the lives of hundreds of people and destroyed thousands of acres of agricultural and residential houses in some provinces of the country.
