BAMYAN: During Eid al-Adha days 92,000 domestic and 92 foreign tourists visited historical and recreational sites of Bamyan province, the provincial Information and Culture Department said in a statement.
Provincial Information and Culture Director Mawlavi Safiullah Raeed said since the 1403 solar year over 100,000 people visited historical sites of the province.
Mawlavi Safiullah Raeed said: “To attract further tourists, we provide necessary tourism services and facilities in the province.”
He said ancient sites and natural resources of the province attract thousands of tourists from other provinces and foreign countries annually.
