KABUL: The Ministry of National Defense, in response to the recent remarks of Khawaja Mohammad Asif, the Defense Minister of Pakistan, in a statement on Friday, stated that the responsibility for any invasion, under any name or pretext, on the territory of Afghanistan will rest with the aggressor.
“The recent remarks by the Pakistani Defense Minister regarding the violation of Afghanistan’s national sovereignty are described as an ill-considered act and are likened to an attempt to muddy the waters,” said the statement.
According to the statement, the consequences of such remarks are not in anyone’s interest.
The National Defense Ministry has called on the Pakistani government leadership to not allow anyone to make statements on sensitive issues.
The statement said:” The Islamic Emirate’s principled position is not to allow the use of Afghan soil against any country.
It is worth mentioning that recently, the Pakistani Defense Minister, said that his country could carry out attacks inside Afghan territory.
