KABUL: The border police forces of the Ministry of Interior Affairs have prevented the smuggling of $40,475 at the Torkham gate in Nangarhar province, the ministry said in a statement on Saturday.
According to the statement, this amount was supposed to be smuggled from Afghanistan to Pakistan.
The Ministry of Interior Affairs assures that it will not allow any individual or group to smuggle money and other items out of Afghanistan.
A few days ago, the border police forces of the Ministry of Interior Affairs had also prevented the smuggling of 90,000 US dollars to Pakistan at Torkham.
