Attention should be paid to realities in Doha meeting, Shaheen

KABUL: The head of the Islamic Emirate’s political office in Doha the capital of Qatar, Suhail Shaheen, in a press conference said that while discussing the issues relating to Afghanistan in the third Doha meeting, attention should be paid to the realities.

He hoped that Afghanistan’s problems would be addressed in the meeting.

Pointing to the sanctions on the banking and commercial sector said that sanctions should be removed to solve the problems of ordinary Afghans and businessmen.

“The international community should cooperate in providing farmers with alternative and halal crops,” he said.

The third Doha meeting has been scheduled from June 30 to July 1st with key agendas on Afghanistan, participating by special representatives from the United Nations and many other countries.
