KABUL: The Japanese Ambassador to Kabul, Takeyoshi Kuramaya, in a meeting with the Acting Minister of Higher Education Shaikh Neda Mohammad Nadeem, said that his country is making efforts to encourage the world to further interact with the Islamic Emirate, Hafiz Ziahullah Hashimi spokesman of the ministry said in a statement on Sunday.
“Japan stands with Afghanistan and will not interfere in internal affairs, and respect the national, religious and cultural values of the country,” the statement quoted the ambassador as saying.
Takeyoshi Kuramaya said that his country has cooperated with Afghanistan in the distribution of vaccination dozes, countering narcotics, and providing humanitarian aid for the recent natural disaster-affected families and is committed to further cooperation in various fields, according to the statement.
Meanwhile, Shaikh Nadeem, appreciating Japan’s assistance, said that Afghanistan wants positive and productive interaction with world countries and the interaction will be possible when representatives of the Islamic Emirate participate in international meetings and conferences.
He also asked the Japanese Ambassador that during his trips to provinces, visit the universities and see the changes.
