KABUL: The country’s Ministry of Public Health said that more than 18,000 surgical operations have been performed at Istiqlal National and Specialized Hospital in the past one year.
“18 thousand 47 surgical operations have been performed in different health fields in the last one year with the help of Afghan experienced and specialized doctors in Istiqlal hospital,” said the ministry.
It was said that in the said hospital, 186 thousand 581 patients were given outpatient (OPD) and 29 thousand 272 patients were given inpatient (EPD) care.
