Doha meeting participant pledged that banking and economic restrictions should be lifted, Mawlavi Mujahid

DOHA: Spokesman of the Islamic Emirate and head of the Afghan delegation Mawlavi Zabihullah Mujahid said on Monday, that the participating countries in the Doha meeting pledged that economic and banking restrictions on Afghanistan’s economic sector must be lifted.
According to him, most of the participating countries in the third Doha meeting expressed their support for the private sector.
Mawlavi Mujahid described the positions of the representatives of Russia, China, Iran, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, the United States and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation as praiseworthy.
The spokesman of the Islamic Emirate added that the second day of the third Doha meeting is progressing well.
It is worth mentioning that the second day of the third Doha meeting is devoted to financial, banking and counter-narcotics issues.
