KABUL: Keir Starmer, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, said that the establishment of an independent Palestinian state is irrefutable right of Palestinians.
He made the remarks in a telephone conversation with Mahmoud Abbas, the President of the Palestinian National Authority.
In the telephone conversation, Starmer emphasized London’s priorities towards Palestine, including the establishment of a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, the release of hostages, the intensification of humanitarian aid to the Palestinians, and financial support for the Palestinian National Authority.
“Our policy towards the recognition of Palestine is steadfast, to achieve peace in the Middle East,” he said.
Keir Starmer, won the election and was elected as the new Prime Minister of the United Kingdom three days.
Concurrent with this victory, thousands of British citizens have launched widespread protests in support of the Palestinians and to end the Zionist regime of Israel’s aggression in the Gaza Strip.
