Afghan goods exports doubled to Central Asia compared to past

HERAT: The officials of Herat’s Torghundi port, said that Afghanistan’s exports to Central Asian countries have doubled compared to the past.

According to the officials, in the past year, 15 cargo vehicles were passing through Torghundi port to Central Asian countries, on a daily basis, and now the number has reached 30.

It is said that most of these items include non-alcoholic drinks from Herat.

It is worth noting that Torghundi is a commercial port in Herat that connects Afghanistan with Central Asia, the Persian Gulf and South Asia.
