KABUL: Construction work on a water supply network worth 4.2 million Afghanis kicked off in Maidan Wardak province, the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development said in a statement today.
The project with the financial support of the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) will be implemented in Akhundkhail village of Jalriz district of the province, said the statement. With the implementation of the project safe drinking water will be provided to 223 families, as well as work opportunities will be provided to dozens of people, according to the statement.
