KABUL: The Office of the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs in a video message, on Monday on its X page, said this year’s exports have been doubled compared to the previous years.
Currently, Afghan goods are being exported to 80 countries in 24 commercial sectors, most of which are exported from 13 provinces, according to the video.
“To further develop and standardize exports, processing and packaging export zones will be established in accordance with international standards in Kabul, Kandahar, Herat, Balkh, Nangarhar and Paktia provinces and 100 acres of land have been allocated for each zone,” said the video.
According to the video, the lands have been stabilized for these zones and practical works will be started in the near future.
It is said that 100 thousand people will be employed in these zones.
