Mawlavi Abdul Kabir meets Tehran-based Afghan investors in Iran

KABUL: The Deputy Prime Minister for Political Affairs Mawlavi Abdul Kabir during his trip to Iran met with a number of Tehran-based Afghan investors, Arg said in a statement today.

According to the statement, the meeting was arranged by the Afghan embassy in Tehran, and was attended by Mawlavi Fazl Mohammad Haqani, the ambassador and a number of embassy staff.

In the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Mawlavi Abdul Kabir provided the participants with information about the progress in Afghanistan’s political and economic relations with its neighboring countries and the region.

“The Islamic Emirate wants to have positive relations with the whole world, especially with Islamic countries and is moving forward in the light of this goal,” the statement quoted him as saying.

In the meeting, a number of Afghan investors residing in Iran spoke on behalf of others and praised the economic-oriented policies of the Islamic Emirate.

Yesterday, leading a delegation Mawlavi Abdul Kabir, left for Tehran to participate in the oath-taking ceremony of the President of Iran.
