IRAN: The Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ali Khamenei, has issued an order for a ‘direct attack’ on Israel in response to its attack on Iranian soil and the martyrdom of Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the Hamas political office.
According to the New York Times report, Khamenei issued this order at a meeting of Iran’s National Security Council.
According to the report, three officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran, two of whom are members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of that country, have confirmed the issuance of this order.
The Iranian government and the Islamic Resistance Movement of Hamas accuse Israel of being involved in the attack on the head of the Hamas political office.
The nature of Iran’s attack on Israel is not yet known, but previously, Iran attacked Israel with about 300 missiles, which were repelled by five Western countries.
Yesterday morning, in an attack in Tehran, the capital of Iran, Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the Hamas political office, was martyred.
