Work on the solar water supply network kicked off in Parwan

KABUL: The construction work on a water supply network worth 6.8 million Afghanis has been kicked off in Parwan province, the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development, said in a statement.

According to the statement, the development project, with the financial support of the United Nations Children’s Fund, will be built in the village of Bayan Payeen in Charikar, the capital of Parwan province.

With the completion of the project, hundreds of families will have access to safe drinking water, said the statement, adding that during the implementation of the project, employment opportunities have also been provided for dozens of people.
