KABUL: The Economic Commission meeting, held today at Marmarin palace, with the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar Akhund, on the Chair, discussing various issues on the agenda, the deputy PM office said in a statement today.
In the meeting, the increase in the revenue of the National Archives of the Ministry of Information and Culture, the fate of the properties of the National Union of Workers, the amendment of the constitution of this union, the start of the rest of the affairs of Sanai Ghaznavi town and a number of other issues were discussed.
After a comprehensive discussion with the participants of the meeting, the plan to increase the revenue of the National Archives of the Ministry of Information and Culture was approved by the Technical Committee of the Economic Commission, and the Ministry was tasked to prepare incentive programs to attract visitors to the National Archives.
Meanwhile, the task has been given to the committee appointed under the chairmanship of the representative of the Deputy PM office for economic affairs, to amend the constitution of the National Union of Workers in the light of the existing orders and decrees, to solve the problem of the license and to clarify the fate of the properties in the constitution.
Also, the committee has been given the task of comprehensively examining all the technical aspects of Sanai Ghaznavi town, including the proposals of private companies, and submitting its report to the Economic Commission.
