KABUL: As the Israeli Zionist regime’s aggression and attacks on the Gaza Strip are ongoing, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the President of Turkey, has met with Mahmoud Abbas, the President of the Palestinian National Authority, Turkey’s president press office said in a statement.
According to the statement, in the meeting, the President of Turkey emphasized increasing the pressure on the Israeli Zionist regime by the international community.
He accused a number of the world countries of remaining silent against the genocide committed by the Israeli Zionist regime.
The statement said that the two sides have also discussed a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
According to the statement, the President of Turkey has called for immediate and simultaneous actions by the countries of the world, especially Islamic countries, against the Zionist regime.
