KABUL: The spokesperson of the Ministry of Public Health, Dr. Sharaf Zaman, said that Afghanistan has become self-sufficient in the production of serums.
According to him, last year, they exported a large quantity of serums to Arab countries, as well as destroyed 1,610 tons of expired medicines, healthcare, and food products across the country.
“The Ministry of Health is preparing a five-year plan, preparing accreditation drafts for laboratories and specialized clinics, distributing activity licenses to 3,489 health workers, providing health services to prisoners in 34 provinces, supporting domestic productions are other achievements of the ministry in the last year,”
he said.
