KANDAHAR: The Supreme Leader of the Islamic Emirate Shaikh-ul-Hadith Mawlavi Hibatullah Akhundzada, in a meeting with the governors of all provinces in Kandahar, urged them to uphold sound Islamic governance, fulfill their responsibilities diligently, safeguard the Islamic system established as result of 20 years of Jihad, the spokesman of the IEA Mawlavi Zabihullah Mujahid, said in a statement on his X page on Tuesday.
Speaking about the implementation of Sharia law, the Supreme Leader said that the governors are the foremost conquerors in the realm of Jihad, positioned at the forefront of the battle.
He also instructed them to fortify the Islamic structure, enforce Sharia law, rejuvenate divine directives, prohibit illicit activities in the provinces, prioritize the religious and intellectual reform of the populace, and maintain relationships with scholars.
The Supreme Leader emphasized the importance of entrusting scholars, seeking their guidance, engaging in religious practices, focusing on the education of the youth, and cultivating a generation infused with Islamic principles.
Listening to the viewpoints of all governors regarding the maintenance of the system and the implementation of Sharia, he provided them with necessary directives.
