KABUL: The Amo Sharks won Afghanistan’s 9th Shpageeza Cricket League.
The captain of the team was the all-round player Azmatullah Umarzai, who after an exciting game defeated Band Amir Dragons and won the final.
The match started with the Band-e-Amir team who scored 178 runs with the loss of one player and set a target of 179 runs for the rival team.
Amo Sharks achieved the said goal and defeated Band-e-Amir by 7 wickets.
