KABUL: The officials of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development, said that the construction work on a road connecting Afghanistan with China in the Wakhan district of Badakhshan province is ongoing.
The director for the Minister of Rural Rehabilitation and Development office Mirza Mohammad Shekib, made the remarks today in a press conference held at the Government Media and Information Center (GMIC).
The primary work on a road connecting Afghanistan with China, with the length of 50 meters have been completed, he said adding that work is ongoing seriously.
Meanwhile, he said that the ministry has constructed 100 check dams, worth 426 million Afghani in 14 provinces of the country, he said.
