KABUL: The officials of the Ministry of National Defense said that the country’s Air Forces conducted 4,218 operational, duty, and training flights in the past one year.
Speaking in a press conference at Government Media and Information Center (GMIC) Qari Fasiḥuddin Fetrat, the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces of the country, sharing the ministry’s one year achievements said that the reactivation of a Black Hawk helicopter and the resumption of the Air University are among the achievements in the Air Force sector.
He added that the Air Force has transported 77 martyrs and 567 injured individuals over the past year.
He added that to protect the country’s borders, several units, bases, and posts have been established in key locations.
