KABUL: The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi, left the country for Yaounde, the capital of the Republic of Cameroon, to participate in the 50th meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the Deputy spokesman of the ministry, Hafiz Zia Ahmad Takal, said in a statement late on Tuesday.
It is said that in addition to participating in this two-day meeting, the Minister of Foreign Affairs will also have bilateral meetings with the foreign ministers and representatives of the host country and some member countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
The fiftieth meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation will be held on August 29 and 30.
