KABUL: The Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock said in a statement today that a delegation including the Ministry’s Agricultural experts left the country for Beijing the capital of China.
According to the statement, the Afghan agricultural experts heading a delegation left the country for Beijing to participate in a tripartite meeting between Afghanistan, China, and Pakistan.
The meeting will take place over ten days in the city of Xi’ An, China, said the statement adding that the participants will discuss China’s agricultural programs and ten-year plans.
The agenda also includes examining factors contributing to agricultural advancement in China, enhancing the capacity of agricultural employees, and exploring how China achieves self-sufficiency in agriculture.
Since the establishment of the Islamic Emirate, China has expanded its cooperation with Afghanistan in various fields.
