KABUL: The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Mawlavi Amir Khan Muttaqi, on the sidelines of the 50th meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), has held separate meetings with delegations from various Islamic countries.
Hafiz Zia Ahmad Takal, Deputy spokesman of the ministry, said in a statement on Sunday that Minister Muttaqi met with Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Qatar, Azerbaijan, Oman, Indonesia, Iran, Palestine, Somalia, and several other nations’ delegations in Yaounde the capital of Cameroon.
In the meetings, discussions were focused on strengthening bilateral relations and other areas of cooperation.
A few days ago, a delegation led by the acting Foreign Minister traveled to Cameroon to participate in the OIC ministerial meeting.
