Florida’s former Secretary charged with spying for China

KABUL: The U.S. prosecutors have arrested Linda Sen, the former Secretary of State for Florida, and her husband on charges of espionage for China.

According to the reports, the couple was taken into custody by American prosecutors on Tuesday, September 3.

It is alleged that Ms. Sen and her husband received millions of dollars and various gifts secretly from China.

According to the reports, the former Florida Secretary is accused of preventing Taiwanese officials from meeting and accessing American officials at the request of China.

Ms. Sen and her husband are scheduled to appear in court today to face charges of espionage.

China and the United States, as two major global powers and members of the United Nations Security Council, are engaged in competition across various sectors.
